Akenhead Makes the Right Call

Vitaliy Kryza opened to 5,500 from the cutoff and saw Xiaowen Zhao call on the button and James Akenhead defend the big blind.

The players went three-ways to the 7♠K♣6♠ flop and Akenhead checked. Kryza bet 10,000 which saw Zhao fold and Akenhead call.

A 4♠ was turned, and both players checked to the 9♦ river.

Akenhead check-called a 22,000 bet from Kryza and showed 8♣7♥ for a pair of sevens. Kryza was behind and flipped over his 4♣3♣ with bottom pair.
