Fernandez Gets Paid by Turchi
Level 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Javier Fernandez raised to 20,000 in middle position and was called by Virgile Turchi in the hijack and Paawan Bansal in the big blind.
All three players checked the 8♣3♣3♦ flop. Fernandez then bet 50,000 on the 4♥ turn, and only Turchi called.
Fernandez bet another 120,000 on the J♦ river, and Turchi tanked for a minute before calling. Fernandez showed J♠10♠ for two pair, and Turchi mucked A♣Q♥.
