"Second chip leader," Ding Fan said as he opened to 90,000 in the small blind.
"You might be first after this," Dimitrios Gkatzas replied as he called in the big blind.
"I'm very lucky," Fan added, and the flop came 10♠8♦6♥. Both players checked to the A♥ turn, where Fan led out for 75,000. Gkatzas then raised to 175,000, and Fan reraised to 400,000. Gkatzas folded.
Fan allowed Gkatzas to choose one of his cards, and Gkatzas picked the 7♦. "Told you, very lucky," Fan said.
