Bora Kurtulus (3,355,000), Ding Fan (3,220,000), Traian Stanciu (3,110,000), and Dimitrios Gkatzas (3,060,000) are the other members of the three-million-chip club at the start of the day.

Further down the leaderboard are Paawan Bansal (1,835,000) and Tobias Peters (1,125,000).

The action on Day 5 picks up on Level 26 with blinds of 25,000/50,000 and a 50,000 big blind ante. Play is scheduled to go down to the final six players today. The remaining 16 have all locked up €41,900 for making it this far out of the 1,224-entry field, while a spot at the final table is worth €122,400. The eventual champion will take home €1,019,300 and the PokerStars Golden Shard trophy.
