Lukas van Eeden raised to 800,000 on the button with A♣2♣, and Manuel Ferrari called in the small blind with Q♣10♣.
When Ferrari checked on the 10♥10♦7♣ flop, Van Eeden continued for 600,000, and Ferrari responded with a check-raise to 2,500,000. Van Eeden opted not to stick around as he returned his cards to the dealer.

After peeling A♣6♣, Jose Criado raised to 600,000 on the button and called when Lukas van Eeden three-bet to 1,800,000 from the small blind with K♦7♦.
Van Eeden continued for 1,400,000 on a Q♣8♥8♦ flop, and Criado quickly folded.
Manuel Ferrari raised to 600,000 on the button with 9♥9♣, and Lukas van Eeden defended his big blind with A♣3♥.
Van Eeden checked to Ferrari on the 3♠5♦Q♥ flop, who continued for 500,000, and Van Eeden called. The 7♥ turn was checked through, and the 3♣ completed the board. Van Eeden led out for 1,800,000, and after using a time extension, Ferrari decided to fold.
The remaining three players have struck a deal to split the remaining payouts, evening out the pay jumps.
The current chip leader, Lukas van Eeden, will take home at least €927,420, while Jose Criado has locked up €910,642. Manuel Ferrari has secured €902,243, with all three still able to increase their amount further, as an extra €100,245 awaits the winner alongside the Golden Shard trophy.

The tournament has been paused while the final three players discuss a potential deal.
Jose Criado limped in from the small blind before calling when Lukas van Eeden raised to 1,100,000 in the big blind.
The A♥2♣9♣ flop saw Criado check-call a bet of 800,000 before the Q♠ turn was checked through. Criado checked once again on the 6♦ river, but this time faced a bet of 3,200,000 from Van Eeden.
The bet put Criado deep into the tank, with the Spaniard using three time extensions before reaching a decision. Ultimately, he chose to call, but it was bad news, as his hero call with 6♣5♣ was not a good one, as Van Eeden flipped over A♦5♥.
Manuel Ferrari limped in from the small blind. Jose Criado upped the ante to 1,100,000 in the big blind, and Ferrari called. Ferrari check-called when Criado bet 1,200,000 on the A♦5♠A♥ flop, and he check-called again when Criado fired 3,000,000 on the 10♣ turn.
The 2♥ river was then checked to showdown. Ferrari tabled Q♦9♠ for queen-high. Surprisingly, Criado also had queen-high with Q♣J♥, but his higher kicker won him the pot to overtake Ferrari once more.
Jose Criado raised to 600,000 on the button with A♣7♠, which both Lukas van Eeden, with 6♠6♣ and Manuel Ferrari, holding 10♥8♠, called in the blinds.
The Q♥K♣3♣ flop saw the action check to Criado, whose continuation-bet of 750,000 faced no resistance whatsoever, as both Van Eeden and Ferrari folded.
