Van Dijk Holds to Double
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Kalybek Nurkozhoev raised to 2,000 on the button, which Giovanni La Padula called in the small blind. Bart van Dijk then three-bet all-in for 16,600 from the big blind, which Nurkozhoev called before La Padula folded.
Bart van Dijk: A♣J♥
Kalybek Nurkozhoev: Q♦9♦
Both players connected with the 9♥3♥J♦ flop, but crucially for Van Dijk, he retained his lead. The A♠ turn improved Van Dijk further, before the 5♣ sealed the deal, securing him a full double-up.
