Ruijs Ends the Night on a High
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Joris Ruijs raised the button to 8,000 and Tugce Hallner three-bet the small blind to 23,000. Ruijs made the call.
Hallner bet 16,000 on the A♦8♥10♠ flop and Ruijs raised to 45,000. Hallner continued via a call.
The 7♥ turn brought a check from Hallner and Ruijs carved out a bet of 77,000. Hallner looked over at Ruijs' stack and then jammed, putting him all in for his remaining 183,000. Ruijs snap-called.
Joris Ruijs: 10♣10♥
Tugce Hallner: A♣Q♠
Hallner was drawing dead with top pair against Ruijs' set.
The 7♣ river improved Ruijs to a full house, but it was merely a formality as he secured a huge double-up on one of the last hands of the night.
