When Pidhrusnyi checked on the 3♣8♥4♠ flop, Pak continued for 90,000, and Pidhrusnyi called. The J♥ turn was checked through, but when Pidhrusnyi checked again on the K♥ river, Pak fired 325,000. That did the trick, as Pidhrusnyi folded.
The very next shuffle, Pak raised to 100,000 again. This time it was Alexandru Toderita who attempted to defend his big blind. However, when the dealer spread a 2♣5♠A♦ flop, Toderita check-folded when Pak continued for 75,000.
