Royal Flush for Van Eeden, Who Chooses Not to Share the Moment
Level 30
: Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Jose Criado raised to 250,000 on the button with 6♦4♦, and Lukas van Eeden called in the big blind, having looked down at K♣J♣.
The 2♠A♣10♣ flop saw Van Eeden check-call Criado's 175,000 continuation-bet, having flopped a royal flush draw. The 3♣ turn then completed his flush, but Van Eeden continued to check-call, this time facing a 750,000 barrel from Criado.
When the Q♣ completed the board and Van Eeden hit the royal flush, he opted to lead out for 650,000. Left holding just six-high, Criado offered no resistance, as he returned his cards to the dealer.
Like a true professional, Van Eeden didn't show his cards.
