Maria Konnikova raised to 300 in the cutoff. Big blind Miguel Gurrea bumped it up to 1,100, and Konnikova called. Gurrea then continued for 900 on the 10♦6♦6♠ flop, which Konnikova raised to 2,700. Gurrea called, after which the duo checked through the Q♦ turn and J♥ river.
Gurrea revealed Q♥Q♣ for a turned full house at showdown. Konnikova could not help but smile as she relinquished her cards to concede the pot.
With about 9,500 in the pot on a completed board of A♠9♣Q♣3♣K♥, Miguel Gurrea Monton was first to act from early position and settled on a bet of 3,100.
Tom Khalifa, on the button, deliberated for a few moments before flicking in a chip to call. Monton tabled a flopped set with 9♠9♦, earning him the pot as Khalifa mucked.
A sizable pot of 4,800 had been brewed when small blind Valerio Parodo and Iraklis Manikaros in the hijack arrived on the 8♠2♥9♥J♥ turn. Manikaros fired 3,000, which Parodo check-called.
Parodo checked again on the 3♦ river. Manikaros overbet the pot by sliding in 11,900, and Parodo snapped his opponent off.
Manikaros showed A♥7♥ for the nut flush. Parodo paid his opponent, then returned his cards to the muck.
Kamal Khalifa opened it up to 300 from the hijack, with David Karsenty three-betting the button to 1,000. Khalifa called and the flop came down K♠2♦10♦.
Khalifa started with a check, and Karsenty continued for 1,000. Khalifa called before check-folding against Karsenty's double barrel of 5,000 on the 7♣ turn.
Romain Locquet had open-raised in the hijack when Rens Feenstra three-bet to 1,200 in the cutoff. Adam Martinsson called cold on the button, and Locquet came along as well.
The trio checked through the 10♣8♣8♦ flop, prompting Locquet to bet 1,800 on the 4♣ turn. Feenstra called before Martinsson folded. Locquet then announced a bet of 4,800 on the Q♥ river.
Feenstra quickly looked it up but was unable to beat Locquet's 9♥8♥ for flopped trips and mucked his cards in defeat.
Guillermo Sanz raised under the gun to 300 and Alon Huberman three-bet from the big blind to 900. Sanz called.
Huberman started with a check on the 7♣6♦8♥ flop, and Sanz decided to fire for 900. Huberman instantly called.
The Q♦ landed on the turn and both players checked to see the J♥ complete the board. Huberman tossed out 2,500, which was enough to get Sanz to fold.
