The 2♣ river was as blank as they come, sending Nikitina and Trela to the rail.
Nick Marchington raised to 1,300 in middle position, which only Andrew Dickinson called in the big blind.
The dealer provided an 8♥3♣4♣ flop, and Dickinson checked. Marchington continued for 2,200 before Dickinson responded with a check-raise to 7,000. After assessing the situation, Marchington three-bet to 15,400, which quickly shook Dickinson out of the pot.
With around 7,500 in the pot, Abdul Karim checked from middle position on the J♥A♦3♣ flop, and Panagiotis Mavritsakis bet 2,000 from the cutoff. Karim called.
The 9♦ landed on the turn, and both players checked to see the 7♠ complete the board. Karim then bet around 7,500, which Mavritsakis quickly called.
Karim turned over 3♦3♠ for a set of threes, and Mavritsakis mucked.
Dario Quattrucci just scored a double knockout on Table 40 in a pot of around 70,000, eliminating Hamza Nasir and Maor Zaharagi.
All the chips went into the middle preflop, with Nasir on the button, Zaharagi in early position, and Quattrucci trying to send them both home from under the gun.

Nasir had the goods with pocket rockets, while Quattrucci needed something of a miracle to turn his seven-high into the winner.
The 6♠9♦Q♦ flop was a good start, giving Quattrucci a pair and a flush draw.
Zaharagi added a gutshot when the J♠ landed on the turn, but the board-pairing 6♥ river improved Quattrucci to trips, cracking Nasir's aces and sending two players to the rail.
Tomasz Doktor raised from middle position and Feliciano Rosano three-bet the button to 2,800. Doktor called when the action got back to him.
Doktor knuckled it over to Rosano on the 3♦7♠9♠ flop, and Rosano bet 2,500. Doktor check-raised to 7,000, but that didn't deter Rosano as he called.
The 9♣ landed on the turn and Doktor checked. Rosano shoved, putting Doktor all in for his stack of about 17,200. Doktor took a few moments before making the call.

Both players had overpairs, but Doktor was pipped by one and needed to find one of the two remaining tens on the river.
The 6♠ wasn't one of them, sending Doktor to the exit while Rosano climbed to roughly two starting stacks.
Antoine Vranken raised to 800 from under the gun and Julian Pineda Lozano three-bet the hijack to 2,400. Vranken called.
Vranken checked the 4♣A♣10♦ flop and Lozano bet 1,500. Vranken check-raised to 4,500, which Lozano called.
Vranken elected to check the A♠ turn, allowing Lozano to bet 1,500. This time, Vranken just called.
Vranken check-called one last time when the 5♦ completed the board, after Lozano bet 2,700.
Lozano instantly tapped the table and revealed a bluff with Q♣9♣, losing to Vranken's A♥Q♠ for trip aces.
Gianfranco Iaculli raised under the gun to 600 and Vahe Martirosyan three-bet from the big blind to 2,700. Iaculli called and both players checked the 8♦4♣5♦ flop.
Martirosyan put out a delayed continuation-bet of 5,600 on the 2♣ turn, which Iaculli called.
When the Q♠ completed the board, Martirosyan tanked for a while before shoving, covering Iaculli. It was now Iaculli's turn to go deep into thought, with the bet putting his remaining 19,000 or so chips at risk.
About three minutes later, Iaculli reluctantly folded and Martirosyan dragged in the pot.
Picking up the action on an 8♠9♠10♥ flop with 7,800 already in the pot, two players checked to Simeon Naydenov on the button, who bet 4,000. Borja Martinez check-called from the big blind, but Bram Berkvens check-jammed for 15,200 from middle position.
Naydenov responded by moving all-in himself for 35,400, and Martinez immediately put his own 36,900 into the middle.

All three players had connected with the flop in a big way, but the Q♦ turn and 5♥ river favoured Berkvens, improving him to a straight and ensuring him a triple-up.
Naydenov's set held on to claim the substantial side pot, leaving Martinez with less than ten big blinds.
Rostyslav Hertsyk raised to 600 under the gun and Stephane Knafo three-bet from the next seat to 2,000. Lucas Borges cold four-bet to 4,500 from middle position, and the action folded back to Hertsyk.
Hertsyk took another look at his cards before jamming for about the starting stack. Knafo stuck his stack of 25,000 into the middle, which got Borges to fold what he said after the hand was big slick.

It was poker's classic preflop cooler, with Knafo firmly on the wrong end of it.
No help arrived for Knafo on the 8♣5♥Q♥6♣9♠ runout, sending him to the rail almost six days earlier than he would have dreamed of.
With roughly 15,000 already in the pot and three players sharing a 6♣K♦4♠10♦ board, Charles Chaya bet 5,000 from the big blind. Michel Molenaar raised to 13,000 in middle position, which Chubak Asanov called from the cutoff before Chaya folded.
Molenaar then emptied the clip, moving all-in for around 19,500 on the 3♣ river. This time, Asanov didn't stick around, choosing to fold.
