Big Stacks Battle on Table 17

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Christophe Panetti opened to 5,000 in the hijack. Raul Mestre called on the button before Ramon Lampert made it 18,000 to go in the big blind. Panetti got out of the way, but Mestre quickly tossed in calling chips.

Mestre then called Lampert's bets of 16,000 on the 4Q8 flop and 47,000 on the 10 turn. Lampert slid in a third barrel worth 63,000 on the A river, this time getting rewarded with the pot as Mestre tapped the table and mucked his cards.
