Polito Goes One for Two

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Laurent Polito and Miroslav Rizov were heads up on the J57 flop. Polito flicked in a bet of 50,000 in the cutoff, which Rizov called on the button.

The A turn then checked through to the Q river, where Polito reaggressed with a bet of 100,000. Rizov instantly called with AK, besting the KJ of Polito to win the pot.

One hand later, Polito had opened from the hijack, and Leonard Maue had defended his big blind. Polito then continued for 75,000 on the 9108 flop, and Maue check-called.

Both players checked the 3 turn, prompting Maue to bet the minimum of 25,000 on the Q river. Poltio slid in a raise to 255,000, and Maue made a reluctant fold to surrender the pot.
