Tabac Hero-Calls Ortiz to Rail
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
In a three-bet pot worth about 220,000, Mihai Tabac checked the 4♣7♠Q♦ flop from under the gun to Jose Ortiz in the hijack, who bet 65,000. Tabac called to the 7♦ turn, which both players checked.
Tabac also checked the 2♣ river, prompting Ortiz to announce an all-in bet worth 295,000. Tabac spent one of his time banks before he called with the covering stack.
Ortiz stood up as he flung his A♣K♦ open, and he took his leave once Tabac tabled 9♥9♦ for the winning pocket pair.
