Buhaiov's Resurgence Short-Lived
Nazar Buhaiov raised to 160,000 under the gun. It folded to Mihai Tabac in the big blind, who opted to defend.
The pair checked through the 10♣J♦8♣ flop, and Tabac checked the 2♣ turn as well. Buhaiov placed a small bet of 150,000, which Tabac called.
Buhaiov sized up to 450,000 on the A♠ river, again seeing Tabac check-call. Buhaiov tabled A♦8♦ for two pair and dragged the pot when Tabac mucked his cards.
On the next deal, Tomas Jozonis made it 160,000 to go under the gun, and Buhaiov called in the big blind. After the 3♥9♣K♥ flop was checked by both, Buhaiov slid in an overbet of 600,000 on the K♣ turn.
Jozonis called after some deliberation, prompting Buhaiov to slow down on the 3♣ river and check. Tabac took the initiative with a bet of 400,000, and Buhaiov quickly forfeited the pot by folding.
