He moved all in for 22,000 after another player had raised form early position and Daniel Mangas made a large isolation raise from the button which got the Spaniard heads up with the Irishman.

Perrault Hits The Front

Pascal Perrault is cresting near the 160,000 chip mark the beneficary of 60,000 chips from a tilted opponent.

The tiltee, had just lost 23,000 when his {K-Hearts}

was cracked all in pre-flop against {Q-Spades}

with a rivered {5-Spades}

making the wheel.

Our tiltee then raised the very next pot with {K-Spades}

and Perrault on the big blind reraised him 10,000. Tiltee then moves all-in for over 60,000 and Perrault makes a quick call and his {Q-Spades}

holds on a board of {10-Spades}

Frantic Action

The first two levels of play have seen some frantic action with nearly 50 players sent to the rails. The most notable casualties are Liz Lieu, Roland de Wolfe and Daniel Negreanu. We have 93 players remaining with an average chip count of 42,200.

Pascal Perrault with a big stack

It was in fact Pascal I noticed earlier, not Fougeron, but they are both French and have a lot of hair so it's an easy mistake to make.

Perrault is now on 100,000.

Some other players on the move

Another Frenchman - Thomas Fougeron - has gotten some chips early and is now on over 90,000.

Irish WSOP bracelet winner Alan Smurfit has made a positive start and is now on 42,000. His fellow countrymen Tony Cascarino and John Conroy have 50,000 and 30,000 respectively.

Swede Ola Brandborn who started as one of the chip leaders has dumped over half his stack and is looking uncomfortable on 30,000.

Also, Rafael Comas and Erik Friberg are down to the felt and Michael Greco is currently missing in action.

Nicolas Levi Eliminates a Player

Seat 6 raises to 3,200 and Levi (while getting a massage) calls on the button for 3200, as does the small blind.

Flop {4-Clubs}

and the pre-flop raiser bets out 6,400. Levi calls on the button and the small blind folds.

Turn {2-Spades}

and the raiser moves all in for around 15,000. Levi immediately calls.

{3-Diamonds}

for Levi, and {A-Spades}

, the nut-flush draw, provides outs for his opponent. The {6-Spades}

on the river completes the flush but Levi wins with a full house.

The Frenchman remains second in chips but has increased his stack to 115,000.

Negreanu Out!

Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated from the London EPT. Negreanu limped under the gun and called a 2,500 chip raise from Joseph Mouawad on the button.
