2007 EPT Warsaw
Main Event
Day: 1a
Welcome from Warsaw!
While the weather is good outside, we are holed up in the press room inside the Hyatt Regency, three floors above the casino. Keeping fit running up and down stairs could be the order of the day here.
First thing to confront us was the hotel internet system - it wasn’t working too well! Cue the technical guys……zzzzz
We had a look at the casino reception area a couple of hours before the cards hit the air, Ireland’s Andrew Black rolled up at this moment, telling us that he woke up at 4am deciding on the spur of that moment to play, so he was sorting out a bank transfer to secure his seat.
As a great believer in fate, I threw my 20 Zlotys into the ring for the press room’s Last Longest bet – Andrew Black. For the record, Paul went in-house with Noah Boeken.
