Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Ji Zhang opened to 80,000 from under-the-gun, Hossein Ensan then three-bet to 150,000 from small blind. Zhang called to see a {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop.

Ensan, who won one of the Seniors' Event earlier this week, bet 195,000 and Zhang made the call to see the {5-Diamonds} on the turn. Ensan showed no letting up and bet 465,000. This was enough to push the German player off the hand.

Hueber Doubles

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Thomas Hueber moved all in from early position for 270,000 and got looked up on the button by Mikhail Rudoy. The blinds folded and the cards were on their backs.

Huebaer had {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Rudoy the {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

The final board was {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}, safe enough for Hueber who got his double up.

Nick Rampone Eliminated in 22nd Place (€40,200)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Nick Rampone
Nick Rampone

Pawel Brzeski had opened on the button and Nick Rampone moved in from the small blind, a quick call from the button.

Brzeski: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Rampone: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Rampone was looking to dodge aces and jacks but the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the American, who lost a 4 million chip pot yesterday when Bram Haenraets hit a 3-outer on him, has been eliminaed.

Panka Cracks Aces

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Dominik Panka
Dominik Panka

Mikkel Nielsen raised to 80,000 preflop from the cutoff, Dominik Panka then made it 190,000 on the button. Nielsen responded by four-betting to 310,000 and Panka moved all in. Instant call.

Nielsen: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Panka: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

Panka was in real trouble but the flop came {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to give him a flush draw, the {6-Hearts} on the turn completed the flush but Nielsen could hit a six or the case ace to make a full house. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Panka doubled up to 2.6 million and Nielsen rolled his eyes in disbelief.

Phillips Doubles

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Samuel Phillips opened for 80,000 on the button and Robert Schulz in the small blind raised to 225,000. Schultz has played very aggressively so far to day and when the big blind folded Phillips made it 395,000. Schultz thought for a couple of minutes before moving all in. Phillips made the call.

Phillips had {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Schultz showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. It was Phillips who was at risk but a final board of {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} saw a double up for Phillips to cut down Schultz’s stack.
