In the previous level, Guillaume Darcourt received a nice gift after making a continuation bet on a flop and was called only by the player in the small blind whereas the other opponent folded. On the turn, Darcourt bet 3,300 and his opponent raised to 15,000 with 10,000 behind. Rob Strong told us about a big hand he played with Vladimir Troyanovskiy two to his right.
Troyanovskiy opened to 1,100 from the hijack in that hand (in the level before this one), and his neighbor in the cutoff made the call. Rob Strong on the button squeezed to 3,500 and just Troyanovskiy made the call, the cutoff folded.
Troyanovskiy check called a 4,400 bet on with two clubs, and check called another 8,600 on the turn. The river was an off suit and Troyanovskiy check called 14,400 from Strong.
Strong tabled pocket aces for top set, Troyanovskiy mucked for top two pair.
