Chop It Up!

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ruben Visser opened for 22,000 in middle position, and his next door neighbor Lucas Monnier in the hijack shoved all in for 78,000. The cutoff, button and both blinds folded, and Visser instantly called.

Visser: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Monnier: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop connected with Monnier a bit, but he needed some more help to get out alive. The {3-Hearts} on the turn was a bad card for him, but the {J-Spades} on the river was a good one. Both made a straight and chopped the pot.

Two EPT Champions Remain as ElkY Busts in 31st

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier

PokerStars Team Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was all in for his last 91,000 and then faced the reshove all in of Joseph El Khoury on the cutoff. All other opponents folded and they tabled their cards:

El Khoury: {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades}
ElkY: {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

The {7-Spades} {5-Spades} {10-Spades} flop was not good for Grospellier, as it took away some of his outs. Neither the {5-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {4-Hearts} on the river provided help anymore and the Frenchman was sent to the rail. This leaves only two former EPT champions remaining in the field with Kevin MacPhee and Ruben Visser.

Rozenberg Flushes Rabsz

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Milan Tomasz Rabsz opened for 20,000 and Lionel Rozenberg in the cutoff made the call. Rabsz checked the {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and Rozenberg quickly checked behind.

Rabsz now bet 26,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn and Rozenberg went into the tank for a little bit. Eventually he made the call.

The river paired the board with the {6-Hearts} and Rabsz checked. Rozenberg cut out 55,000 and Rabsz snap called. Rabsz soon counted out 55,000 to hand over though as Rozenberg tabled {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for the flush.

Cohen Doubles Through Tsairis

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Evangelos Tsairis raised to 24,000 from the cutoff and it folded over to Massou Cohen in the big blind. Cohen three-bet all in for his last 153,000 and Tsairis announced a call.

Tsairis: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Cohen: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board came out {7-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, allowing Cohen's pocket tens to hold as the best hand. Tsairis shipped over double up chips and his stack has been reduced to about 410,000.

Double Knockout on the First Hand

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Andrius Bielskis
Andrius Bielskis

Andrius Bielskis opened the hijack for 21,000 and his next door neighbor Saoud Mnahi in the cutoff shoved over the top all in for about 121,000. The player on the button folded but Omar Dahmani in the small blind seemed interested. The Frenchman reshoved for 182,000 total and Bielskis made the call to put both players at risk.

Omar Dahmani: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Andrius Bielskis: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Saoud Mnahi: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board completely blanked out with {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and two players made their way to the exit.
