Buhr Wins Some Back

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dany Parlafes opened to 115,000 from early position and Benjamin Buhr in the cutoff was the only caller.

Parlafes bet 155,000 on {10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Buhr called pretty quickly.

The {9-Spades} hit the turn and Parlafes now checked, only to call the 265,000 bet that followed from Buhr.

The river came the {6-Hearts} and Parlafes checked again. Buhr took a 20-high stack of 25,000 chips, added a single 5,000 chips, and slid the tower worth 505,000 into the middle.

Parlafes thought for a little bit before eventually folding.

Parlafes Cracks Seven Million

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Dany Parlafes
Dany Parlafes

Dany Parlafes' domination of the final table has continued as he's now cracked the seven-million chip mark.

The action began when Parlafes raised to 115,000 from middle position. Benjamin Buhr called from the cutoff and Massou Cohen came along for the ride from the big blind. The trio took a flop of {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and all three players checked to see the {8-Clubs} on the turn. Cohen checked for a second time, prompting Parlafes to fire 135,000. Buhr called, Massou folded, and the {A-Spades} put two pair on the board on the river.

Parlafes moved out a bet of 425,000, prompting an instant reaction from Buhr.

"Shit," muttered Buhr under his breath as he riffled chips.

After a moment of thinking, he moved out a call.

"I've got it," said Parlafes, showing {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a winning full house of aces full of nines. With this win, Parlafes has increased his stack to 7.25 million.

Matas Cimbolas Eliminated in 8th Place (€58,820)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

Matas Cimbolas was down all the way to the point he had just 400,000 left. Those eight big blinds went into the middle from middle position. His neighbor Dany Parlafes made the call, all other players folded.

Dany Parlafes: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Matas Cimbolas: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Parlafes was in front but Cimbolas had live cards.

The {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} on the flop was just a bunch of blanks though. The {6-Clubs} on the turn cut Cimbolas' six outs back to four and so the Lithuanian had just 9% equity to win the hand.

The {3-Spades} on the river wasn't one of the cards Cimbolas was able hit to double up, and so he stood up and shook hands. With Cimbolas' exit the remaining seven players are now guaranteed €85,530.

Cimbolas' Bluff Fails

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Matas Cimbolas in the small blind who thought for about 90 seconds before raising to 135,000. Dany Parlafes called from the big blind and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. Cimbolas continued out with a bet of 145,000 and Parlafes stuck around.

The {A-Hearts} paired the board on fourth street and prompted two checks from the players. The {5-Spades} completed the board and Cimbolas fired out a bet of 220,000. Parlafes called and Cimbolas instantly flung his cards into the muck. Parlafes did not have to show and was awarded the pot.

Parlafes has increased his chip lead and now has 5.6 million in chips. Cimbolas, on the other hand, is representing the short stack with just 420,000.

Cohen The Shorty

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Andrius Bielskis opened for 100,000 under the gun and Massou Cohen in the big blind was the sole caller.

Cohen check called a bet of 115,000 on {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and another 205,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn.

That made the pot grow to a healthy 905,000 and Cohen had just 735,000 behind at this point. Cohen checked a third time with the {Q-Spades} hitting the turn.

Bielskis moved all in and Cohen went into the tank. After about three minutes the Frenchman decided against it, he folded and lived on to fight another day. He's short now though, with 735,000 in chips he has just 15 big blinds left.

Parlafes Over Five Million

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dany Parlafes raised to 115,000 and he found a call from Joseph Carlino in the big blind. The flop came out {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Carlino led into the middle for 100,000. Parlafes came over the top for 240,000 and Carlino stuck around.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Carlino slowed with a check. Parlafes knocked the table back, allowing the {K-Spades} to come on fifth street. Carlino checked, Parlafes bet 205,000, and Carlino let his cards go.

Parlafes pulled the pot and now has become the first player over five million in chips. He has a stack of 5.1 to his name.

The Good Old Seven-Trey

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Benjamin Buhr opened for 105,000 from early position and action folded to Dany Parlafes in the big blind who called.

Both players checked the {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and {9-Diamonds} turn.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board and Parlafes bet a hefty 200,000. Buhr almost immediately called, but mucked just as quickly after Parlafes showed {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the rivered straight.
