Fatima Moreira de Melo - 28th Place
Fatima Moreira de Melo - 28th Place

Artur Koren raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Simon Deadman flatted from the button. PokerStars SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo three-bet shipped for 238,000 from the small blind and Koren announced a call. Deadman folded and the hands were exposed.

Koren: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Moreira de Melo: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Koren jumped out into the lead on the {J-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop by pairing his ace. Suddenly Moreira de Melo needed to catch a nine in order to stay alive in the Main Event. Fourth street was the {8-Clubs} and fifth the {7-Hearts}, meaning that she would become the latest runner eliminated from play.

Marc-Andre Ladouceur

Team PokerStars Pro Online Marc-Andre Ladouceur and Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody just clashed in a very big pot that resulted in the elimination of the former.

Ladouceur raised from the cutoff to 23,000 and Cody, from the button, three bet to 58,000 after which the other players folded and Ladouceur called. The flop brought out {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Ladouceur checked to Cody who bet 56,000.

Ladouceur opted for a check-raise making it 130,000 and Cody tanked for quite a bit before making the call.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Ladouceur continued with a bet of 90,000 and Cody tanked for a minute before making the call.

On the river the {J-Clubs} hit and this time Ladouceur checked to the Triple Crown winner who moved all in after about a minute. Ladouceur had 215,000 chips left behind and two minutes later he called risking his tournament life.

Cody showed {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair and Ladouceur flashed his {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} before heading for the exit.

He now has about 650,000 while MacPhee has dropped to 245,000.

Mroczek Extends His Lead

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We just saw {10-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades} on the table when Sebastian Pauli bet 130,000 into chip leader Jakub Mroczek. Mroczek tanked for quite a long time before making the call and on the river, the {4-Diamonds}, both players quickly checked.

Pauli showed {K-Spades}{10-Spades} and that was no good against Mroczek's {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Mroczek raked in the pot and now sits on a heft 2.3 million-chip stack.

Leo Nordin - 31st Place
Leo Nordin - 31st Place

Leo Nordin opened to 20,000 from the cutoff only to have Sebastian Pauli three-bet to 50,000 from the button. The two blinds folded and Nordin moved all in for about 390,000 total. Pauli instantly called and the hands were turned over.

Nordin: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Pauli: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The two were racing for Nordin's tournament life heading to the community cards. The flop came down {5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, keeping Pauli's jacks out in front. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave Nordin some chop outs to stay alive, but nothing materialized for the Swede as the {8-Diamonds} finished the board on the river. Nordin fell in 31st and Pauli boosted his stack to 1.37 million.

After one of the outer tables broke it was Sergio Aido who got moved to the secondary feature table. Moments after this happened he was knocked out under unknown circumstances but Kevin MacPhee was kind enough to share with us what happened.

On a {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop it was Aido who check-raised all in holding {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} against [Removed:119]'s set of deuces. The turn nor river brought help for Aido who exited in 32nd place.

Snap-Call Central

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kai Herold raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and Simon Taberham made the call from the button. Raffaele Sorrentino three-bet from the small blind to 62,000 and both his opponents called.

The flop brought {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Sorrentino bet 52,000 which was quickly called by Taberham as Herold folded.

On the turn the {2-Spades} hit and Taberham called another 82,000 before the {6-Clubs} popped up on the river.

This time Sorrentino checked to Taberham who fired out 110,000 and he was almost beat into the pot. Sorrentino snap-called and Taberham mucked instantly, even before his opponent tabled {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

Sorrentino raked in this big pot and Taberham's now one of the short stacks.
