A Dangerous Man Gets Even More Dangerous

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Alexandre Sako opened before the flop and Artem Litvinov in the hijack made the call.

Sako would fire on the {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} flop and Litvinov made the call. The same happened on the {K-Hearts} turn; Sarko bet (6,600) this time, Litvinov called.

The {7-Clubs} was where things got interesting. Sako bet another 11,000 and Litvinov tanked for a bit before raising to 29,000. Now it was Sako in the tank. The Brazilian thought for quite some time before eventually calling.

Litvinov showed {10-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for the nuts and Sako mucked.

Pecheux the Miracle Man

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Erwann Pecheux started the day as short stack like he did so often before and then staged yet another comeback story, getting himself suddenly above average within the first levels after the restart. Latest victim to the run of the Frenchman was Steven Warburton, who five-bet shoved with {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}.

A third player in the hand bowed out after the three-bet and Pecheux called with {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}. The board ran out {6-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} and Warburton had slightly less chips than his opponent to head to the rail.

Salter Keeps on Running Well

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Jack Salter - Day 1a
Jack Salter - Day 1a

Denis Drobina was all in and at risk after five-bet shoving his stack of 25,000 chips with pocket kings. Jack Salter "didn't have much, only pocket jacks" and the queen-high flop "gave nothing." On the {9-Hearts} turn, Salter picked up a flush and straight draw before finding one of the remaining two jacks in the deck on the river.

Salter then went on to explain to the table that the {J-Clubs} was his favorite card, but he didn't get it this time.

Remarkable Triple Up For Shorr

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In a huge clash we just saw Shannon Shorr secure a big triple up that puts him quite a bit over average while he came into the day with just above the starting stack of 30,000 chips.

The action started on Ioakim Papadopoulos who raised to 2,500 under the gun and a player in middle position called. Celil Iyidogan made the call as well and Shannon Shorr proceeded to three-bet to 8,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Papadopoulos four-bet to 14,500 and the first caller folded.

Iyidogan made the call and Shorr tanked for quite some time before committing the extra chips as well.

The flop brought out {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and Papadopoulos bet 16,000, which was called by Iyidogan. Shorr moved all in for 21,300 and both Papadopoulos and Iyidogan called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Papdopoulos check-folded when Iyidogan moved all in.

Shorr: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Iyidogan: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Shorr tripled his stack while leaving Iyidogan with just 32,000 chips.

The Aces versus Kings Story

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Viktor Litovchenko just scored a huge pot after knocking out Allan Udeajah. The German had already reraised to 26,000 preflop when Litovchenko shoved and Udeajah tank-called to put his stack of 95,000 chips at risk. Litovchenko had him covered and also the better hand in {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} while Udeajah flipped over {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}.

The {4-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {A-Clubs} flop was no good for the German and he was drawing dead after the {Q-Hearts} turn, making the {5-Spades} river meaningless.
