In the last hand before the break, Fedor Holz opened with a raise from the cutoff and Bjorn Lundgren three-bet jammed for 160,000. Action folded back to Holz, who made a quick call.
Holz:
Lundgren:
It was a flip, and Lundgren pulled out to a commanding lead on the flop. Neither the turn nor river helped Holz, and he shipped the double to Lundgren.
In the very last hand before the break, Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz and Sergio Aido tangled in a pot and the Spaniard bet the turn when the action was checked to him. Wyrzykiewicz wasn't willing to invest 100,000 and mucked his cards to make Aido a Millionaire.
We missed how the action unfolded, but we do know JC Alvarado got his last 230,000 all in from the big blind and was at risk against Mateusz Moolhuizen, who was on the button.
Moolhuizen:
Alvarado:
Alvarado was in a bad spot, and his best chance at surviving was to find an ace. The flop left him wanting, as did the turn. Alvarado needed an ace from space, but it didn't come as the blanked on the river. Alvarado officially bowed out in 38th place for €17,100.
Antonin Duda bet the flop for 34,000 and Javier Gomez Zapatero called from the button before the arrived on the turn. Again Duda bet, this time for 68,000 and was called. With the river completing the board, the Czech fired 166,000 and was paid off to reveal for a flush.
After a shaky start, Sergio Aido's day is going from strength to strength. His stack has passed 1.2 million after he busted the cheery Marius Pospiech.
Pospiech had 165,000 left when he moved all in for 165,000 from under the gun. Aido was on the button and made the call.
Pospiech:
Aido:
The board ran . Pospiech was already saying, "Good luck guys!" after the turn left him drawing dead.
