Goryachev Applies The Pressure

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Alessio Isaia raised to 11,000 from the hijack before Viacheslav Goryachev bumped it up to 24,000 from the cut off. With the decision folding back around to Isaia, he paused for a moment, before four-betting to 58,000. Goryachev made the call and both players watched the flop come down {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Both players checked before the dealer revealed the {9-Clubs} on the turn. Isaia checked and waited for Goryachev to make his move. Goryachev then moved all in for 177,000 which caught Isaia off guard. He tanked for almost two minutes before finally mucking his hand.

Dominik Nitsche gets to see what his opponent had

Dominik Nitsche and Anton Astapau got it in before the flop. Astapau in middle position had {Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and was slightly behind against Nitsche's {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

The {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{K-Spades} board favored Astapau though, and Nitsche wished the table good luck before heading for the exit.

Korenev Doubles Through Katchalov

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Eugene Katchalov raised to 11,000 from the cut off before Roman Korenev moved all in for his remaining 92,000 in chips. Katchalov asked for a count, and deliberated over decision, before making the call.

Katchalov: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Korenev: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Korenev was at risk until the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} to see him spike an ace on the flop to take the lead and eventually win the hand.

Metaal & Delgado Done

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Govert Metaal shoved for his remaining 40,000 from the cutoff with {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. That didn't really work out for the Dutch EPT regular as the big blind found pocket aces, according to the ast Dutch player standing Mateusz Moolhuizen. Moolhuizen himself plays 99,000 and has some work cut out for him.

Vicente Delgado has also been eliminated, but details are missing for his bust out we're afraid.

Yaroshevskyy Resurrects to Bust O'Dwyer

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Earlier today we received Igor Yaroshevskyy's bust out slip and so assumed he was eliminated. Things weren't going to well for him and it only made sense the start of day chip leader had lost the bit of chips he had left as well.

Well, it turns out he didn't. That, or he made one more re entry which isn't allowed on Day 2. Just now we spotted him three betting Steve O'Dwyer's raise to 57,000. O'Dwyer made the call with about 100,000 behind and checked to his neighbor on {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Yaroshevskyy moved all in for 130,000 and O'Dwyer tanked for a long time.

Eventually he called with his {A-Spades}{3-Spades} and Yaroshevskyy turned over {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. O'Dwyer was ahead but would be drawing dead by the time the {K-Diamonds} hit the turn. The {2-Spades} was there just for good measures and O'Dwyer left the tournament room.
