Straight Flush for Visser
Now there's something you don't see very other day. Well, technically we didn't see it, but EPT London winner Ruben Visser was kind enough to fill us in on the details about how he acquired such a big stack by telling the story about him hitting a straight flush.
Visser told us that someone in front of him had opened for 700 and Visser had called with 
on the button. The big blind came along for the ride and checked to the initial raiser on 
. The pre flop aggressor bet out 1,200 and both Visser and the big blind called.
All three of them checked on the 
turn, so the 
river was seen by the three of them on a discount. The big blind lead out for 2,400 and the initial raiser made the call. Visser raised it up to 7,900 and found his customer in the big blind who made the call. Visser showed his straight flush and his opponent mucked.
