Among the first notable hands on the outer tables, Thomas Butzhammer moved all in and claimed the blinds and antes. Jakub Slemr then defended his big blind against a 60,000-raise by Miltiadis Kyriakides and check-raised the 
flop from 60,000 to 220,000. Kyriakides called but then folded the 
turn when Slemr moved all in.
Fast forward one hand, Pascal Pflock raised to 60,000 and was called by Stephen Graner and Francesco Grieco in the big blind. Pflock made a continuation bet of 55,000 on the 
and folded to the raise of Graner for 120,000.
