Remi Castaignon Eliminated in 7th Place (€129,390)

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Remi Castaignon - 6th place
Remi Castaignon - 6th place

Hand #6: Fabio Sperling limped from the hijack with {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} and Stephen Graner checked his option in the big blind with {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}. On the {8-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {3-Spades} flop, Graner bet 125,000 and Sperling called to improve with the {10-Spades} turn. Graner checked, Sperling checked behind. The {6-Diamonds} saw no further action either and Sperling took down the pot.

Hand #7: Remi Castaignon moved all in for 810,000 from under the gun. Anton Bertilsson called in the hijack and all other players folded.

Castaignon: {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}
Bertilsson: {A-Spades} {10-Hearts}

Both players found some help on the {6-Spades} {10-Clubs} {J-Spades} flop, the {4-Spades} on the turn and the {9-Spades} river gave Bertilsson the nut flush and sent Castaignon to the rail for €129,390. This also ensures that a new EPT champion will be crowned, as Castaignon was the last former Main Event winner in the field.
