Troyanovskiy Eliminated By Kamel

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

The action folded around to Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the cut off who made it 18,000 to go. Tamer Kamel then raised it up to 37,000 from the button which forced the blinds out. With the decision back on Troyanovskiy he moved all in for approximately 130,000 in chips and was snap called.

Troyanovskiy: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Kamel: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Troyanovskiy was in danger of being eliminated and it would be proven so when the board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} to see Kamel’s pair hold up.

Selbst Busts Kanit

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

If you're watching the live stream, you must have seen the huge hand between Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst and high roller Mustapha Kanit.

The two super stars got their chips in before the flop with Selbst being the severe underdog holding pocket fours. Kanit was the proud owner of pocket eights but that hand would soon hit the muck face down. The flop was full of blanks but the four on the turn changed everything.

The river wasn't one of those precious eights and Kanit made his way to the exit. Selbst in the meantime plays almost 900,000.

Vanessa SelbstSummary of day: play very bad, get there! Proud owner of almost 900k chips, 30 minutes from day 4. #illtakeemhowican #EPTPrague

Sotiropoulos gets Shown Aces

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

In a three-bet pot preflop, Georgios Sotiropoulos bet 56,000 out of the small blind on the {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Hearts} flop and initial raiser Francesco Grieco raised to 115,000. Sotiropoulos called and then check-folded to a bet of 200,000 by the Italian. The time of consideration before tossing his cards into the muck was at least three minutes and Grieco then picked up his cards from the muck and showed him {A-Hearts} {A-Spades}.

"Nice fold man," Grieco said before he began stacking his chips.

Who is the Boss now?

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After some clicking back and forth, a bet of 105,000 was in front of Simon Boss, who had opened the action from early position. Idan Raviv now moved all in for 276,000 and the Swiss was sent deep into the think tank. Ultimately, Andras Nemeth called the clock on him and the one minute of consideration ran down without Boss making any decision. His hand was declared dead.

Double Knock Out Makes Graner Top Dog

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

"Yeah raise, I call, call call, bet flop, call, shove shove, call" was about what Stephen Graner told us when we, with our jaws still on the ground, asked what had happened in the double knock out we just wrote down.

Graner apparently had flatted with pocket aces only to get a lot of action on the flop. On {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} he got it in three way with his {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} up against {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for Reto Timucin Locher and Philipp Teipel.

The {7-Spades} on the turn was a blank and the {A-Clubs} on the river didn't change anything effectively either. A double knock out made Graner the chip leader of the tournament with about half an hour on the clock. Reto Timucin Locher finished 77th as he had fewer chips than Philipp Teipel who finished 76th.

Aces For Nikov

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Remi Castaignon opened the action for 16,000 and then called a 36,000 three-bet from Dobromir Nikov.

It went heads-up to the flop of {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and when Castaignon checked Nikov bet 44,000. Castaignon check-raised all in and Nikov made the call with the smaller stack.

Castaignon showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the straight draw and Nikov had {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. The turn card {4-Diamonds} and river {4-Clubs} missed Castaignon to double up Nikov.

Danzer Doubles

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
George Danzer
George Danzer

On the feature table George Danzer opened the action and it folded round to Pascal Pflock in the big blind who three-bet enough to put Danzer all in.

Danzer sweated for a bit under the studio lights but he did make the call to put his tournament life at risk.

Pflock showed the pair {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Danzer the suited {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

The cards ran out {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} with Danzer picking up more outs on the turn but untimately hitting his ace on the river to double up.

Vrakas Busts Aidonopoulos

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After a raise to 16,000, Theodoros Aidonopoulos moved all in for 60,000 and Georgios Vrakas reraised to 120,000 to scare off the initial raiser. Aidonopoulos had a flip with {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} against {3-Spades} {3-Clubs} but could not improve on a board of {5-Spades} {8-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}.

Nyman Loses Flip on Roller Coaster Board

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bjorn Wiesler had Ville Nyman at risk preflop with {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} and saw his opponent improve with {K-Spades} {J-Hearts} on a flop of {7-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {6-Spades}. The {10-Hearts} on the turn now gave the German a gutshot, but it would be the {8-Spades} on the river that awarded the pot to the better hand preflop. Nyman was sent to the rail in 72nd place and that was also the last spot to receive only €11,920.
