We caught the action when Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso called a bet on the turn in a pot that turned out to be monstrous. Every single player that was at the table stood around during the river action and that gave us the opportunity to ask Pratyush Buddiga what exactly went down.
The action started when Ignat Liviu, known online as "0Human0", raised to 1,200 from the button. Rousso three-bet from the small blind to 3,200 and Liviu grabbed the opportunity to put in a four-bet to 8,000. Rousso made the call and the flop brought out .
Rousso checked the flop and Liviu threw out 7,500 and the Team PokerStars Pro made the call. On the turn the hit and this time Rousso check-called 16,500.
The river brought out the and Rousso checked a third time. Liviu moved all in right away for a total of 22,375 and Rousso went deep into the tank. After staring Liviu down, and trying to get a response out of her opponent, Rousso started talking.
"I hate this hand," she said as time went on. Eventually Rousso made the call and Liviu turned over immediately.
"Oh my god, that's so sick," Rousso said.
"Wow, so sick..." she added as she threw her cards towards the muck.
A member of the tournament staff was a witness to this hand and said that Rousso had to table her cards because Liviu was all in. Rousso was not particularly happy with this rule that has been enforced for quite a while now at tournaments all over the world.
"I don't have to show my cards!" Rousso snapped at the floor staff right when he pointed this out to her.
"Call the floor over!" Rousso added as her cards were almost tabled and turned back down again.
"I am the floor," the member of the floor staff responded as some players chuckled.
"That's bullsh*t!" Rousso added as her cards were turned over. Rousso showed and that left the rest of the table astounded. The table broke right after this hand and Rousso Tweeted the following about it.
Sometimes you get a soul read and you're wrong. Sometimes you try to be a hero with the J6 off and they have the old QQ for the rivered set.May 06 2013Follow
