Volpe Clips Back Latz

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

At the ripe old age of 20, Ole Schemion has already racked up a myriad of accomplishments. In September of 2012, he won the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, earning $1,474,671. A month later, he won the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam, pocketing $368,895.

Brutal Day Ends for Lewis

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Toby Lewis can go and lick his wounds along with Chris Brammer after he followed his friend out of the door.

Lewis told PokerNews that his day had been pretty brutal where he failed to win a hand despite playing well.

His exit came after he committed the last of his chips with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} on a {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop only for El Khazen Youssef to open {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. The {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} turn and river failed to come to his rescue.

Mitchell Busts One

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

James Mitchell has had quite the start to this event as he's already up to 78,500 chips. Mitchell just busted a short stack holding {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} versus {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the short stack was knocked out.

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Micah Raskin checked the {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board before Alex Gomes fired 1,125. Raskin made the call, then checked the {10-Diamonds} river. Gomes moved all in for about 5,800, and Raskin folded.

Lewis Has Less

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Joao Brito and Toby Lewis were heads up on a board of {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Spades}. De Brito tossed out 10,000 (effectively 9,000) into a pot of around 16,000, and Lewis went deep into the tank.

Lewis rechecked his cards, returned to the tank, then finally folded {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} face up.

Brito mucked his cards face down, and now sits with around 75,000.

Quick Exit For Teltscher

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Mark Teltscher has just been knocked out by Thanh Hai Pham. On the turn the board read {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Spades} when Teltscher was facing a raise from Pham up to 7,000. Teltscher had 3,200 out in front of him and he decided to make the call.

On the river the {2-Hearts} hit and Pham quickly put his opponent all in. Teltscher, former EPT London winner, had 17,800 chips left and made the call after about 20 seconds.

Pham showed {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Teltscher's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} were tossed into the muck.

"Good luck guys," Teltscher spoke to his former table mates as he exited the tournament area.

Latz of Chips for Hendrik

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Hendrik Latz was the first player to six figures after a beautiful turn card (for him) got him paid in a hand versus Alexander Timokhin.

Latz led for 750 on a {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop and was called in one spot before Timokhin check-raised to 2,500 from the small blind. Latz was the only caller to the {10-Spades} turn where he raised his opponent's 5,000 up to 11,200. Call.

That raise didn't deter Timokhin from check-calling a 37,000-chip shove on the {7-Clubs} river. Latz opened {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} beating out Timokhin's {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

That cooler left Timokhin with just 6,000.

"Sorry For The Nitroll"

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The board read {4-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} when Dan Smith fired out a bet by tossing in 5,200. We're sure how much Smith had announced but there was 2,750 in the pot. Lewis raised it up to 4,500 and Smith pondered for a while before tossing in the call.

Lewis showed {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Smith apologized as he turned over {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

"Sorry for the nitroll," Smith said as he raked in this big pot.
