Ivey Gets the Better of Kamel Again

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Even out of position Phil Ivey managed to get the better of Tamer Kamel again.

Kamel was on the button and three-bet to 1,225 after a cut-off open to 550. Ivey called from the small blind and the cut-off called too.

The flop fanned as {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Ivey led out for 2,000. Only Kamel called to the {8-Spades} turn where Ivey led for 5,500. Kamel muttered something about a set and folded showing a {q-Spades}.

Anderson Doubles Through Trickett

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

The board read {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} when Sam Trickett check-called 1,525 from Calvin Anderson. On the river the {K-Diamonds} and Trickett checked again. Anderson literally had one chip left and tossed that final 5,000 into the pot after about 30 seconds. Trickett snap-called and mucked when Anderson turned over {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

Anderson doubled up and plenty of chips to work with again while Trickett drops to below the starting stack.

50 For Ivey

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Phil Ivey just doubled up and we managed to get a hold of the details from Tamer Kamel. Kamel raised to 450 preflop and Ivey called to his immediate left. The gentleman in the big blind three-bet to 1,900 and both Kamel and Ivey called.

The flop brought out {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} and the big blind bet 2,600, Ivey called and Kamel folded. On the turn the {10-Spades} hit and Ivey called another 6,000. The river brought the {7-Spades} and this time Ivey's opponent checked. Ivey moved all in and he was called by worse as his opponent mucked when he showed {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Ivey is back in business and now sitting on a comfortable 50,000-chip stack.

Ladouceur Check-Raises Flop

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Marc-Andre Ladouceur opened to 500 from early position, a player on his left called, and three other players called including Franck Blanc, Alex Kravchenko, and Ronny Voth. The flop fell {6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}, Voth and Ladouceur both checked, and the player on Ladouceur's left fired out 1,350. Blanc folded, Kravchenko called, Voth folded, and Ladouceur check-raised to 4,800.

Only Kravchenko called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, both players checked, and the {4-Clubs} completed the board. Ladouceur checked again, and Kravchenko quickly checked behind. Ladouceur showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} for aces and nines, and the Team Pro tossed his cards into the muck.
