Not Cool

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Mikolaj Zawadzki just ended up all in for 13,500 against German Simon Dansker and the showdown went as following.

Mikolaj Zawadzki: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
German Simon Dansker: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Zawadzki stood up to leave the tournament table. The players' stacks were pretty similar and the dealer counted Zawadzki's stack down.

"It's cool," the dealer said after verifying that Zawaszki was actually knocked out.

"No it's not cool, I'm out," Zawaszki replied sarcastically. The players at the table started laughing while the dealer seemed a little embarrassed.

"I guess those were not the right words," the dealer added as play went on. It was all in good fun and everyone had a good laugh, even Zawadzki didn't seem upset about it at all.

Go Fisher

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Annette Obrestad led out for 3,500 on a flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Her opponent, Slade Fisher, called.

The turn was a third diamond - the {8-Diamonds} - and the 2007 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event champion led again, this time for 8,000. Fisher again called.

The river was a fourth diamond - the {5-Diamonds} - and Obrestad splashed forward 16,000. Fisher removed his sunglasses, studied Obrestad, grabbed a handful of chips, then called.

Obrestad ripped over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, knowing it was good, and Fisher flicked his cards into the muck.
