Day 3 Completed
Day 3 of the Pokerstars €1,100 ESPT/UKIPT Malaga Main Event has come to an end with only 15 players advancing to the final day from the 134 that started the day at Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada.
Guido Pieraccini is the overnight chip leader with 7,350,000 chips. The Italian went on a tear shortly after the three-table redraw, knocking out Enzo Enzo, Viesturs Baumanis, and Juanjo Garcia to take 25% of the chips in play and puts him in pole position to lift the Main Event trophy and the top prize of €185,000.
Pieraccini’s main rival is Artus Gimenez who also knocked a number of players out in the latter stages including Doroslav Rasiukevic, Antonio Alfalia, and Jun Beum Chun in quick succession.

The 15 remaining players are bagging up for the evening and will return to action tomorrow at midday local time.
Artus Gimenez bet 100,000 from middle positon and was raised by Doroslav Rasiukevic in the hijack to 250,000 that Giminez called.
The flop came 10♦6♠5♠ and Rasiukevic bet 220,000. Gimenez responded by shoving, putting Rasiukevic at risk for 1,900,000. The Lithuanian made a nervous gulp before putting his chips in the middle.
Doroslav Rasiukevic: K♥K♦
Artus Gimenez: 8♣7♠
Rasiukevic's cowboys were ahead, but the Spaniard had an open-ended straight draw. The A♥ was a brick on the turn, but the 4♣ on the river was a dagger to the heart for Rasiukevic as Giminenez made an eight-high straight.

Jun Beum Chun was at risk for 2,300,000 preflop against Artus Gimenez.
Jun Beum Chun: K♣K♥
Artus Gimenez: A♣A♥
It is the ultimate cooler for Chun running kings into aces. Gimenez went on to make a wheel after the 8♠5♦4♣2♣3♠ runout and Chun headed for the exit.
