However the 10♠ rolled off on the turn to put Kruger back in front with a set of tens, leaving Hardt drawing to the case three, and it did not come on the 2♥ river.

Jonathan Christensen, Jonas Heuser, Martin Qvist, Atush Esker and Piotr Zapolski were also seen leaving the tournament area around this time.

Malte Von Ostrowski opened to 16,000 and was faced with a three-bet jam for around 48,000 by Alfred Tellenbach.

Dirk Hardt was in the next seat and three-bet to 150,000, but the action wasn't done there as Marcel Kruger moved all in for 94,000, with Von Ostrowski getting out of the way, and Hardt covering both players.

Pop was ahead with the overpair aces, but Topuz had plenty of outs, drawing to the club flush and a gutshot straight draw.

Sure enough the 2♣ rolled off on the river to give Topuz the nut flush and send the unfortunate Pop to the rail on the bubble.

All 87 players remaining are now guaranteed a minimum payout of €1,750.

Junker Makes Huge Hero Call on Bubble

Around 90,000 was in the middle on a completed board of K♥3♣Q♥8♥5♦ in a hand between start of Day 2 chip leader Axel Junker in the big blind, and Atush Esker in middle position.

Junker had 90,000 behind and checked. Esker thought the spot through for a while before moving all in with the covering stack.

Junker went deep into the tank, at various points wringing his hands, shaking his head, and looking to the heavens for inspiration.

Eventually after about five minutes, the tournament director informed him matters had to move on and he had 30-seconds for a decision.

With about ten seconds left, suddenly Junker made the call. Esker immediately said "good call", and when the hands were revealed Esker had 9♠9♥ for a pair of nines.

Junker meanwhile had made an unbelievable call with third pair with 10♠10♥ for pocket tens. The watching crowd and table were astonished and congratulated Junker on a courageous call.
