Robert Gill opened to 8,000 from early position and was called by Simon Keating in the small blind. Felix Marutz was in the big blind, and he three-bet jammed for around 106,000.
Gill moved all in for 104,000 and Keating got out of the way.
Robert Gill: K♣K♥
Felix Marutz: Q♣Q♠
In a cooler Marutz had run his pocket queens straight into Gill's pocket kings, and no help was provided by the 2♠10♦3♠5♥10♥ runout.
Baris Topuz opened to 7,000 and received calls from Sandor Ambrus and another player, before Jochen Schreiber three-bet jammed for 51,000. Topuz and Ambrus called, while the other player folded.
With betting on the side, on the K♥J♥9♥ flop, Topuz fired out a bet of 35,000, which Ambrus called.
On the 2♠ turn, Topuz bet what looked like around 100,000, but before it could be counted Ambrus hand was in the muck, and Topuz was pulling his bet back.
Jochen Schreiber: A♥A♣
Baris Topuz: J♣9♣
Schreiber's rockets had been usurped by Topuz's flopped two pair, although Schreiber had the heart draw. Unfortunately for him, the 3♣ river was a brick and Topuz raked in a big pot.
