Brad Henkin Gets there Anyway
Level 8
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
After a ptreflop -betting war, Brad Henkin and another player get all of their chips into the middle, with Henkin covering.
Opponent: A♥10♣
Brad Henkin: A♦Q♣
"Queen on the flop!" Henkin proclaimed, but the deck did not listen as it came A♠K♠10♦ to give his opponent the lead with aces and tens.
"Jack!" Henkin shouted, needing one for a gutshot, but the turn K♥ gave him the lead anyway as his opponent was counterfeited. The river 6♣ changed nothing and Henkin was awarded the pot with aces and kings, queen-kicker and his opponent was sent to the rail.
