New Pants Requested as Smith Rivers Bigger Set
Level 8
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
A river heard around the tournament room was dealt as an opponent moved all in on the button and Nikki Smith called in the big blind.
Opponent: 5♥5♦
Nikki Smith: 8♣8♥
The flop of 5♠2♣10♠ gave the opponent a big lead with a set, but the board finished out 10♥8♦ to bring gasps from the table as Smith made the better set.
Smith apologized to her opponent for the brutal runout and proclaimed that she "may need some new pants!"
