2024 FPS Aix-les-Bains
The player in the cutoff opened to 400 and was called by Christian Bombled in the big blind for a heads-up pot.
Bombled check-called a 600 bet from his opponent on the 6♦J♥6♥ flop and then both players checked on the K♥ turn.
The 8♦ completed the board and Bombled led out for 1,500. His opponent made it 4,000 to go and, undeterred, Bombled quickly made it 13,500 total. The cutoff called and Bombled turned over 8♣6♣ for a full house. His opponent showed he held A♥Q♥ for the nut flush and Bombled was sent the pot.

With 50 players to start things off, Day 1b of the FPS €1,100 Main Event is now underway!
Following a eventful start of the France Poker Series (FPS) Main Event (hosted by PokerStars) yesterday, a fresh wave of players will return to the Casino Grand Cercle in Aix-les-Bains for Day 1b, which is set to get underway at 1 p.m. local time.
Last night, 135 entrants took their shot in Day 1a. Of those, just 31 players managed to find a bag into Day 2. Of those, Kevin Hasler of Switzerland bagged up the biggest stack after running his initial 30,000 up to 240,000. He was one of only three players who ended with more than 200k, with the others being Damien Noraz (236,000) and Kevin Naegelen (207,000).

Bruneteaux, who primarily serves as a French commentator for various poker events, managed to bag up a top-ten stack and will be surely be looking to make the final table and have someone commentate on him instead of the other way around.
Just like Day 1a, players in Day 1b will begin with 30,000 in chips with blind levels starting at 100/100 with a 100 big-blind ante. A total of 14 levels will be played and short breaks will take place after every three levels. A 70-minute dinner break will take place at 7 p.m.
Any player who participated in Day 1a will be allowed a single (re)entry into Day 1b. Players who did not participate in Day 1a will be allowed two entries into Day 1b (one initial entry and one reentry). Should a player exhaust their reentries today, they will be allowed one additional reentry into Day 1c and Day 1d, so plenty of opportunities to make a deep run remain.
