The player in the hijack opened to 3,000 and Thomas Pandelis three-bet to 9,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to the initial raiser, who called.

The hijack called a 6,000 bet from Pandelis on the Q♦9♦6♥ flop and then both players checked on the 9♣ turn.

The 3♣ completed the board and Pandelis put a stack of chips into the middle, which was enough to put his opponent all in for their last 36,000.

The hijack tanked a while, but eventually opted to lay his hand down and Pandelis collected the pot without showing.

Corbelli Pays Gordo Off in Monster Pot

Loris Corbelli and Guillermo Gordo were heads-up on a completed board of Q♥10♦9♠2♥5♦ with over 50,000 already in the middle.

Corbelli checked from under the gun and Gordo fired 75,000 into the middle from directly behind, sending Corbelli deep into the tank.

The clock was eventually called and Corbelli stuck in a single chip to indicate a call.

Gordo tabled K♥J♦ for a flopped straight and Corbelli sent his hand into the muck to send the massive pot Gordo's way.

A player in middle position raised to 3,000 and Simon Wiciak called on the button for a heads-up pot.

Wiciak's opponent check-called a 2,500 bet from Wiciak on the 7♠9♠6♠ flop and then both players checked down on the 9♦ turn and 8♠ river.

Wiciak's opponent turned over Ax8x for nines and eights, but Wiciak turned over Q♠J♣ for a queen-high flush to claim the pot.

Wiciak, who won the 2023 EPT Barcelona Main Event, has had a stellar day so far and is currently sitting with about 210,000 in chips.
