More for Emelyanov

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

"BMWRR" was unable to spin up their short stack and hit the rail.

Shortly after, Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov defended the big blind against Koray Aldemir and check-called the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop for 7,000. Emelyanov also checked the {10-Spades} turn and Aldemir's second barrel for 17,360 resulted in another call.

The {k-Hearts} river went check, check, and Emelyanov's {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} were the superior two pair versus {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Van Der Spuy Crashes Out

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante
Van Der Spuy vs Coleman
Van Der Spuy vs Coleman

A mere 15 minutes ago, Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy was sitting on a top 10 stack but has since been reduced to zero as he crashed out against David Coleman.

In a heads-up min-raised pot to the {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, Van Der Spuy bet 2,484 and Coleman check-called. The {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and Coleman check-called for another 4,123.

On the {k-Spades} river, Coleman checked and Van Der Spuy bet 20,739 for the size of the pot. Coleman ripped it in and Van Der Spuy called without using the time bank with {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for kings and tens. Coleman had the nuts with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and scored the knockout.

Barer Has the Superior Kicker

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Right after sitting down, Alex Foxen min-raised and was called by Ami Barer in the big blind. On a {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Barer check-called for 3,465 and did so again for 10,395 on the {k-Clubs} turn.

The {2-Clubs} fell on the river and Barer check-called for 23,325. Foxen flipped over {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} but Barer won the pot with {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for the slightly superior kicker.

The Action Escalates

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Within a matter of seconds, three all-in showdowns took place on different tables. Darren Elias was sent to the rail while "BMWRR" was left very short. Furthermore, Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy saw his stack cut down as Daniel Dvoress scored a full double.

"BMWRR" took a flip with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} against the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} of Samuel Vousden. The pair held and made a flush on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} board.

Van Der Spuy was involved a preflop raising war as the two biggest pocket pairs in No Limit Hold'em clashed.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and the aces held.

Nuter Eliminated by Raus

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Martin "marlin5555" Raus made it 2,559 to go and called a three-bet to 8,418 by Timothy Nuter from one seat over.

The flop brought {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Raus check-called for 6,551. He did so again for 13,176 on the {2-Diamonds} turn and check-called the shove of his table neighbor for 44,375 on the {q-Hearts} river.

Nuter tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} but Raus had {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for nines full of deuces.

Koon Doubles Through Wigg

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Jason Koon min-raised the button for 2,400 and Anton Wigg three-bet to 7,725 out of the small blind, which led to a call by Koon.

Wigg continued for 4,041 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop to pick up a call and checked the {10-Hearts} turn. Koon bet 4,800 with 15,237 behind and called all-in when facing a shove.

Jason Koon: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Anton Wigg: {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The {3-Hearts} river was a blank and Koon held on for a double.

Van Der Spuy Wins Bigger Pot Without Showdown

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy min-raised from under the fun and was called four ways by Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez, David Coleman, Martin "marlin5555" Raus and Timothy Nuter. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Van Der Spuy bet 4,500 and Nuter was the only caller.

The {a-Hearts} turn was checked and Nuter led the {3-Diamonds} river for 16,400. Van Der Spuy jammed with the superior stack and forced a fold.

Rolle Takes From Rudolph

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Benjamin Rolle raised to 3,200 from under the gun and Christian Rudolph stuck around from one seat over. On a {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, Rolle checked and subsequently called a bet worth 3,437 by Rudolph.

The action repeated on the {6-Hearts} turn for 9,676 and the {6-Diamonds} river went check, check. Rolle's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} prevailed as Rudolph missed a ton of outs with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to end up with inferior two pair.
