Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Hoesel vs Kanit
Hoesel vs Kanit

Joshua "slayerv1fan" Hoesel opened to 5,280 from under the gun and Mustapha Kanit three-bet to 20,160 out of the small blind. Hoesel then jammed for 58,181 and Kanit snap-called.

Joshua "slayerv1fan" Hoesel: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Mustapha Kanit: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Instead of spiking hearts or an ace, Hoesel scored the double the hard way thanks to a {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} runout.

Andersson Doubles Through Sammartino

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Dario Sammartino made it 5,280 to go in the hijack and was called by Fedor Holz on the second bullet in the cutoff. Joakim Andersson filled up from the big blind and the trio headed to the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop. Andersson opted to check-call for 6,416 following a bet by Sammartino and did so again or 16,080 on the {10-Clubs} turn.

Andersson checked the {5-Clubs} river with 46,076 behind and Sammartino emptied the clip by moving all-in. Andersson didn't snap-call but obliged to see his {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} prevail against the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Sammartino.

Reeves Eliminated by Astedt

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Timothy Nuter chipped up on bullet number three while Luke Reeves departed from the same table shortly thereafter.

Niklas Astedt raised to 12,000 out of the small blind for Reeves to call all-in for fewer than that out of the big blind.

Luke Reeves: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Niklas Astedt: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop gave Astedt trips nines and Reeves was gone. Isaac Haxton also disappeared right after from a different table.

Mateos and Holz Eliminated

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Holz vs Addamo
Holz vs Addamo

Adrian Mateos limped the small blind and Timothy Adams raised to 7,200. Mateos responded with a limp-jam for 51,559 and was called by Adams on the second bullet.

Adrian Mateos: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board brought {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Adams made the superior pair.

Fedor Holz then vanished shortly after on another table. Holz raised the button to 5,280 and Michael Addamo jammed out of the big blind for 94,450. Holz had 48,611 at his disposal and called.

Fedor Holz: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Michael Addamo: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Addamo took the lead on the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and improved further on the {q-Hearts} turn. Holz needed a jack, ace or ten but the {8-Spades} river was not what he was looking for.

Recent Casualties

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Timothy Nuter recently re-entered but the second bullet came to an end after just a few minutes. Also on the rail are [Removed:564] and Aliaksei Boika.

Arsenii Malinov saw his hopes on the first bullet vanish when he check-called a bet of 6,000 by Wei Zhao on the {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. They checked the {7-Spades} turn and Malinov jammed the {6-Diamonds} river for 39,616. Zhao was in no mood of folding {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Malinov's bluff with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} failed.

Haxton Caught Bluffing by Pardo Dominguez

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Juan Pardo Dominguez opened to 4,400 from an early position and Isaac Haxton three-bet to 18,400 out of the small blind. Pardo c ame along to the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop on which Haxton continued for 16,000 and earned a call.

Haxton also fired the {8-Spades} turn for 42,000 to pick up a call and led the {5-Hearts} river for 40,000. Pardo called with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for aces full of fives, while Haxton had {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a bluff gone wrong.

Adams and Brito Silva Eliminated

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Niklas Astedt opened to 4,000 and was called by Timothy Adams in the big blind. Following a {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Adams check-raised from 7,260 to 16,468 and Astedt reraised to 63,676. Adams only had 26,129 behind and called all-in.

Timothy Adams: {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Niklas Astedt: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {2-Clubs} turn gave Adams even more outs but he missed them all on the {9-Spades} river.

Pablo Brito Silva was left with crumbs when Damian Salas doubled through him with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} versus {k-Spades}{10-Spades} in a preflop contest. The Brazilian tripled up only to then lose a flip with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} against the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} of "IceGuerilla". No help appeared on the {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board as the mighty ducks held.

Nemeth Done for the Second Time

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 4,200 on the button and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 10,000 in the small blind.

Nemeth piled it in for 54,980 and Petrangelo called instantly.

Andras Nemeth: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Nick Petrangelo: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

There was no upset on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board and Nemeth was gone on bullet number two.

Ferreira Doubles Through Drinan

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Michael Addamo lost the remainder of his short stack while Rui Ferreira scored a double.

Ferreira got it in preflop with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} against the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} of Connor Drinan in a battle under the gun versus small blind. Neither player connected with the {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board and that secured the double for Ferreira.
