"FlowTao" On a Roll

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

"FlowTao" first doubled with {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} against the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} of Mike Watson. The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Clubs} and the aces held.

They then knocked out Watson when {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} prevailed the next hand against Watson's {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. There was no ace or wheel on the {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} board.

Fast forward a couple hands and Luke Reeves sent his second bullet in with the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. "FlowTao" called with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and came out on top after a board of {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Quick Eliminations

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jason Koon lost the remainder of his short stack and the table then broke after Sam Greenwood and Fedor Holz fell in quick succession. Sean Winter bumped his stack significantly, which may very well mean that he scored a double knockout.

Also no longer in contention is Eelis Pärssinen, who got it in ahead against Michael Addamo in a battle of players on their second bullets.

Eelis Pärssinen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Michael Addamo: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and {4-Hearts} turn were no threat but Addamo struck gold on the {10-Spades} river.

Yan Among Latest Casualties

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante
Yan vs Gierse
Yan vs Gierse

Marius Gierse raised the button to 7,920 and was called by David Yan in the big blind. The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop was checked by both and Yan bet the {7-Diamonds} turn for 31,968 into a pot of 20,790, Gierse called.

On the {7-Spades} river, Yan jammed for 131,750 and Gierse called for fewer than that with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for nines full of sevens. Yan was caught bluffing with {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and bowed out in the next hand.

Double-Ups for Rolle and Greenwood

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante
Greenwood vs Volkmann
Greenwood vs Volkmann

Benjamin Rolle was left short and jammed the button with the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Jason Koon reshoved for a few big blinds more with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} in the small blind and the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} board gave Rolle two pair.

One hand later, Sam Greenwood limped the small blind and called a raise to 11,425 by Bruno Volkmann in the big blind.

Greenwood check-called for 6,613 on the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop and did so again for 13,094 on the {3-Spades} turn. He then checked the {6-Clubs} river with 33,011 behind and Volkmann ripped it in with the superior stack.

Greenwood tanked and called with {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines. That was good, as Volkmann had an airball with the {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Third Bullet for Malinowski

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante

Just before the blinds moved up, Dario Sammartino opened to 7,040 and Wiktor Malinowski came along out of the big blind.

On a {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Malinowski checked and called Sammartino's bet of 9,431. The {8-Spades} followed on the turn and Malinowski check-shoved for 90,429 total. Sammartino had bet 36,759 and called without hesitation.

Wiktor Malinowski: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Dario Sammartino: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {6-Hearts} river failed to keep Malinowski in contention and he re-entered right away into the same seat for the third bullet.

Malinov Doubles; Holz Busts

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Arsenii Malinov got his shorter stack in from the small blind with the {a-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Timothy Nuter came along from the big blind with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the superior stack. The {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} board gave Malinov the superior pair eventually.

Fedor Holz was aiming to do the same via three-bet jam on the button against Elio Fox.

Fedor Holz: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Elio Fox: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board kept Fox in the lead as Holz busted for a second time.

Nemeth Back In; Back Out

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante
Nemeth vs Vaskaboinikau
Nemeth vs Vaskaboinikau

Andras Nemeth re-entered for his third bullet and raised to 6,720 in what may have been the very first hand. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau came along out of the big blind and the Belorussian check-called the {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop for 6,020.

On the {10-Clubs} turn, Vaskaboinikau checked once more and Nemeth bet 22,710 with 63,350 behind. The jam by Vaskaboinikai followed and Nemeth called all-in.

Andras Nemeth: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The {q-Clubs} river piled further misery on Nemeth as Vaskaboinikau further improved to queens full.
