Stevens Runs Hot; Busts Three in Three Hands

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante
Stevens vs Petrangelo and Addamo
Stevens vs Petrangelo and Addamo

Nick Petrangelo open-jammed for the last 88,177 and Bert Stevens isolated from the cutoff for 215,277. Michael Addamo called all-n from the small blind to make it a three-bet showdown.

Nick Petrangelo: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Bert Stevens: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Stevens got there for the double knockout. He then won the next hand before taking on Marius Gierse in another preflop contest.

Marius Gierse: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Bert Stevens: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} board kept the best hand ahead thanks to a four-card flush.

Wigg Eliminated by Barer

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

Ami Barer raised to 12,100 and Anton Wigg called from the small blind, as did Guillaume Nolet in the big blind.

The trio checked the {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and the {6-Diamonds} turn, which led to the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Wigg checked and Nolet bet 27,390. Barer raised to 110,110 and Wigg then jammed for 268,548. Nolet folded but Barer snap-called with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for nines full, as Wigg busted with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for the nut flush blocker.

Drinan Busts Twice

Level 16 : 2,750/5,500, 650 ante

Connor Drinan lost a flip with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} against the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} of Matthias Eibinger. The {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board left Drinan drawing dead on the turn already. He then re-entered for his fourth entry to bust with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} against the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} of Samuel Vousden, fired the fifth shell and jammed up his stack without showdown.

Wiktor Malinowski was felted by Fedor Holz and re-entered, as did Michael Addamo after he came up short

Guillaume Nolet jammed for 147,050 and Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy isolated by piling in his stack of half a million out of the small blind. Muehloecker and Bohn folded and Nolet had the chance to more than double.

Guillaume Nolet: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Nolet prevailed with ace-jack high.

Astedt Doubles Through Addamo

Level 16 : 2,750/5,500, 650 ante

At the end of the previous level, Niklas Astedt raised to 10,000 and Michael Addamo simply jammed for nearly 340k out of the big blind. Astedt called for the 200,671 he had behind.

Niklas Astedt: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Michael Addamo: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

No ace appeared on the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board and Astedt doubled.

Dvoress Scores a Double

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, no action took place on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. Daniel Dvoress bet the {j-Clubs} turn for 8,520 and Aram "Pusha T" Zobian raised to 27,520. Dvoress jammed for 110,056 and Zobian called.

Daniel Dvoress: {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Aram "Pusha T" Zobian: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The {j-Spades} river was a blank and Dvoress doubled.

Salas Eliminated by "FlowTao"

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

Jean-Pierre "Kunkuwap" Van Der Spuy missed out on another knockout as Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb scored a double on his re-entry.

Damian Salas was not as fortunate on the same table as he got it in preflop against "FlowTao".

Damian Salas: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
"FlowTao": {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the dreadful ace spelled the end for Salas.
