Showdown Pot for Benitez

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Ole Schemion defended the big blind against a button min-raise by Francisco Benitez and check-called the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop for 39,875.

That's all she wrote as the {10-Clubs} turn and {10-Diamonds} river were checked. Schemion tabled {j-Spades}{2-Spades} and Benitez had that beat with {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

No Flops in Sight

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Christian Jeppsson raised to 66,000 on the button and Fedor Holz three-bet to 219,000 in order to force a fold.

Holz then won the blinds and antes before Jack Salter three-bet Jeppsson successfully.

Jeppsson three-bet Norbert "ElCabanero" Szecsi from 63,000 to 180,000 as he earned back some chips.

Kelopuro Busts; Salas Flushes Ponakovs

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante
Wolff vs Kelopuro
Wolff vs Kelopuro

Sami Kelopuro had managed to spin up his stack to nearly 700k and then got it in from a late position to find himself dominated by button three-bettor George Wolff.

Sami Kelopuro: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
George Wolff: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Kelopuro was gone.

Damian Salas was then at risk with the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} moments later and Aleksejs Ponakovs tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. What seemed to be destined for a split pot ended in a flush for Salas on the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs} board.

Pardo Cannot Bluff Jeppsson

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

At the end of the previous level, Christian Jeppsson raised to 55,000 and Juan Pardo defended the big blind. Pardo came with a plan as he check-raised the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop from 45,415 to 135,000, which Jeppsson called.

Pardo then bet the {3-Spades} turn for 125,000 and the {3-Hearts} river for 667,500. Jeppsson called both times with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for tens fill and Pardo was caught bluffing with the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Down to Five Tables

Level 27 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Zhang got it in ahead with {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} against the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} of Andras Nemeth. The {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} board gave Nemeth sixes full.

Seth Davies then departed and up next, it was Linus Loeliger at risk against Francisco Benitez.

Linus Loeliger: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Francisco Benitez: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board gave Benitez a pair of tens and Loeliger bowed out in 41st place.

Nuutinen No More

Level 27 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Jorma Nuutinen lost the vast majority of his stack when {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} could not get there to crack the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Pascal Hartmann.

The Finn survived one all-in but then saw the hopes of a cash vanish when {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind found no help against the {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} of "xyzpoker" in the small blind.

Dzivielevski Takes the Lead

Level 27 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante
Dzivielevski vs Vousden
Dzivielevski vs Vousden

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 62,500 and was called by Samuel Vousden from one seat over. The flop brought {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Dzivielevski continued for 100,000, picking up a call by his table neighbor. On the {k-Hearts} turn, Dzivielevski bet 275,000 and Vousden called all-in for just shy of that.

Samuel Vousden: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds} river gave Dzivielevski two pair and Vousden had to settle without any cash in this event.

Kruk Cannot Hit Against Mateos

Level 27 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Kruk jammed for just 269,108 from under the gun and was called by Adrian Mateos out of the big blind.

Christopher Kruk: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop was a tease but the {5-Clubs} turn and the {2-Diamonds} river brought no help.

Level: 27

Blinds: 12,500/25,000
