Chidwick Busts Andersson; Doubles Filatov

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Andersson vs Chidwick
Andersson vs Chidwick

Joakim Andersson opened to 3,520 in the hijack and Stephen Chidwick called on the button. On a {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, Andersson check-raised from 2,710 to 10,840 and couldn't shake off Chidwick. Andersson bet the {9-Clubs} turn for 16,260 to earn a call and jammed the {a-Diamonds} river for 57,991.

Chidwick called with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} and caught Andersson bluffing with {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

One hand later, Chidwick opened to 3,840 for Anatoly Filatov to come along out of the big blind. Filatov check-raised the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop from 11,616 to 27,232 and that was called by Chidwick. Filatov then bet the {5-Spades} turn for 28,368 and jammed the {4-Hearts} river for 74,299.

Chidwick made the call and Filatov's {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} scored a full double, as Chidwick had an inferior set in {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

More for Badziakouski and Mateos

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Mikita Badziakouski won two pots in a row and the larger one came against Seth Davies. Both invested 3,679 to see the {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop on which Badziakouski check-called for 2,390. He did so again for 22,400 on the {2-Hearts} turn and the {5-Clubs} river was checked.

Davies tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a bluff and Badziakouski had that beat with {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Adrian Mateos then repeated the same feat and the second pot came at the expense of Daniel Dvoress. In three-way action to the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades} turn, Mateos bet 6,560 and Dvoress called, Davies folded. Mateos bet the {k-Spades} river for 16,800 and Dvoress paid it off with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to get shown {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flopped flush.

Haxton Runs Into Aces

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Haxton vs Rudolph
Haxton vs Rudolph

Christian Rudolph raised to 3,520 and Isaac Haxton three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Rudolph clicked it back to 32,000 and snap-called the jam by Haxton for 118,466.

Isaac Haxton: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Christian Rudolph: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop gave Haxton some outs and he also had chop outs on the {10-Spades} turn. But the {8-Diamonds} river was a blank to send Haxton to the rail.

Daniels Arrives and Busts Greenwood

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Daniels vs Greenwood
Daniels vs Greenwood

Shawn Daniels had just arrived and opened from under the gun, which was three-bet to 9,800 by Sam Greenwood in the cutoff. Daniel made the call to see the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and check-called for 5,600. The {10-Spades} appeared on the turn and Daniels checked once more. Greenwood bet 12,600 with 32,875 behind, which he called off when Daniels pushed.

Sam Greenwood: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Shawn Daniels: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

An ace, queen, or spade would do the trick for Daniels and he spiked the {3-Spades} river to eliminate Greenwood. Dario Sammartino sat down in the vacated seat shortly after.

Benitez and Filatov Double Through Nuter

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante
Benitez vs Nuter
Benitez vs Nuter

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez three-bet to 16,000 out of the small blind once he faced a raise to 2,940 by Rui Ferreira and a call by Timothy Nuter. Only Nuter came along to the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and Benitez bet 12,397, Nuter called once more.

On the {9-Spades} turn, Benitez jammed for 42,668 and Nuter made the call.

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Timothy Nuter: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {k-Clubs} river blanked and Benitez doubled.

One hand later, Nuter opened to 3,219 on the button and snap-called the shove by Anatoly Filatov for 43,732.

Anatoly Filatov: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Timothy Nuter: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board gave Filatov running nines for quads (!!!) to double.

Stevens Above 300k

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Anatoly Filatov min-raised and then called a three-bet to 10,050 by Bert Stevens right before the blinds had gone up. The duo checked the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop and Filatov check-called the {6-Clubs} turn for 14,475. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Filatov checked once more and Stevens simply piled in his massive stack.

Filatov folded and dropped to half the starting stack, as he had previously lost a chunk already.

Kelopuro vs xyzpoker

Austria's "xyzpoker" raised to 3,000 and Sami Kelopuro came along out of the big blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Kelopuro check-called for 5,145. The {3-Hearts} turn brought another check-call for 8,400 by the Finn and he check-called all-in for 34,025 on the {5-Clubs} river.

"xyzpoker" tabled {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Kelopuro was beaten by the kicker, as he only had {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Benitez Cooled Down by Nuter

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

In three-way action to the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez bet 4,277 in the cutoff and Timothy Nuter check-raised to 13,519 out of the big blind. Only Benitez made the call and Nuter then bet the {2-Clubs} turn for 11,091 and the {j-Diamonds} river for 17,745.

Benitez called both bets with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a set of tens but Nuter had flopped the straight with {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.
