Chidwick Takes From Brito Silva

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Pablo Brito Silva limped the small blind and called a raise to 4,800 by Stephen Chidwick. On the {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Brito Silva checked and subsequently called a bet of 8,520. The Brazilian check-called another 22,152 on the {j-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river went check, check.

Brito Silva tabled {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} but Chidwick had the best hand in {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Davies vs Yan

David Yan made it 3,000 to go and Seth Davies three-bet to 8,700 in the cutoff, which the New Zealander opted to call. Yan check-called for 4,080 on the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop and the same action repeated on the {10-Diamonds} turn for 14,280.

Yan also checked the {5-Clubs} river and Davies bet 32,307 with 1,200 behind. Yan tank-called with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and was good, as Davies tabled {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for the missed open-ender.

In the next hand, Yan open-raised and Davies called all-in.

Seth Davies: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
David Yan: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Spades} board sent Davies to the rail for now.

Another Big Pot for Stevens

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Following an open raise by Sam Greenwood, Bert Stevens three-bet to 10,975 in the small blind and Greenwood clicked it back to 25,000. The call of Stevens followed and the flop brought {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Stevens check-raised from 10,000 to 22,500, which earned a call from Greenwood.

Following the {9-Clubs} turn, Stevens ripped it in for 186,285 and Greenwood released his cards into the virtual muck.

Holz Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Fedor Holz made it 2,300 to go, which was called by Rui Ferreira and Juan Pardo out of the blinds. Only Ferreira check-called for 4,000 on the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and did so again for 12,130 on the {6-Diamonds} turn.

Ferreira then checked the {6-Diamonds} river and Holz's bet of 29,612 took it down.

Kings No Good for Dzivielevski

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski made it 2,100 to go in the cutoff and was called by Sam Greenwood out of the small blind. The {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop saw Greenwood with a check-call for 4,557 and that spelled the end for all further action. They checked the {a-Diamonds} turn and {q-Hearts} river, and Greenwood's {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} won in showdown versus {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Ferreira tagged along and they then checked the {9-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river. Haxton turned over {j-Spades}{8-Spades} and Ferreira prevailed with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.
