Chidwick Doubles Through Stevens

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 136,000 in the hijack and left very few chips behind. Bert Stevens moved all-in with the ciovering stack and Chidwick eventually called it off.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Bert Stevens: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The kicker not only played but hit as the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board gave Chidwick kings and fours.

Addamo Cannot Bluff Peters

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

David Peters min-raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Michael Addamo filled up out of the big blinds. The flop brought {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Addamo opted to check-call for 22,000. The {2-Clubs} turn was checked and Addamo bet the {5-Hearts} river for 99,000.

Peters called with {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and Addamo had to flip over {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a bluff gone wrong.

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 32,200 and Wiktor Malinowski three-bet jammed for 132,355. Joakim Andersson called on the button only for Bert Stevens to jam over the top. Dzivielevski called it off as the second shortest stack and Andersson folded.

Wiktor Malinowski: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Bert Stevens: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Dzivielevski a miracle set and he held onto the lead on the {6-Diamonds} turn and {7-Clubs} river. Malinowski was gone and Stevens was left with a below-average stack.

Adrian Mateos: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Mike Watson: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Wiktor Malinowski defended the big blind against a raise by Joao Vieira and they headed to the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop. That's when the chips went in as Malinowski check-raised.

Joao Vieira: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Wiktor Malinowski: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {4-Diamonds} turn was a sweat with the superior flush draw but the {7-Hearts} river awarded the double to Vieira.

Timothy Adams was not as fortunate in his final showdown. He got it in from the button against Michael Addamo in the hijack in what turned out to be a fair fight.

Timothy Adams: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Michael Addamo: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Adams queens and fours but Addamo caught a flush thanks to the {3-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river.
