Andersson and Malinowski Chip Up

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Adrian Mateos made it 2,500 to go on the button and Joakim Andersson defended the big blind. That led to the {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop on which Andersson check-called for 3,188. The {7-Spades} turn brought another check-call by Andersson for 15,500 and the {7-Hearts} river was checked.

Mateos flipped over {k-Spades}{j-Spades}, which Andersson had beat with the {10-Spades}{9-Spades}.

At the same time, Wiktor Malinowski won his second pot in a row and that turned out to be a rather large one against David Coleman. In a min-raised pot to the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Coleman in the big blind check-called 3,763 and the {10-Spades} turn was checked through. On the {3-Clubs} river, Coleman bet 1,300 and Malinowski raised to 8,051. Coleman reraised to 38,000 but Malinowski stuck around with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to drag in the pot against Coleman's {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Up and Down for Chidwick

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Andras Nemeth limped the small blind and called a raise to 4,000 by Stephen Chidwick in the big blind. The {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop was check-raised to 8,000 by Nemeth and Chidwick stuck around to the {a-Spades} turn. Nemeth checked and this time, a bet worth 18,400 did the trick for Chidwick.

Chidwick then defended the small blind against a raise by Sam Greenwood and. heck-called the {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop for 4,000. The {5-Clubs} turn was checked and Chidwick led the {8-Hearts} river for 4,169. Greenwood raised to 16,000 and that won the pot.

Big Pots for Adams and Andersson

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Timothy Adams made it 1,839 to go at the end of the previous level and was called by Christian Rudolph from one seat over and Joakim Andersson in the big blind. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}, it checked to Rudolph who bet 2,720 and was called only by Adams.

Adams then check-called another 8,800 on the {4-Spades} turn and 19,200 on the {k-Spades} river. Rudolph tabled {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Adams had that crushed with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

Two hands later, Adrian Mateos opened to 2,000 and Andersson three-bet the button to 6,400, picking up a call from the Spaniard. Mateos check-called for 4,851 on the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop to do so again for 13,801 on the {9-Hearts} turn. He then checked the {a-Clubs} river and Andersson piled it in for 52,529 to take the pot with force.
