H-75: $25,500 Sunday 5 Million

Day 1 Started

Who Will Reach the Final Table in the 2021 GG Spring Festival Event H-75: $25,500 Sunday 5 Million?

GG Spring Festival
GG Spring Festival

The who-is-who of the world of poker will enter the fray on the busiest Super Sunday to date on the GGPoker network, which comes with $25 million in guaranteed prize pool as part of their 2021 GG Spring Festival. A big slice of that is up for grabs in Event Event H-75: $25,500 Sunday 5 Million, which is the joint most-expensive tournament of the entire schedule. Day 1 of this event is scheduled to kick off at 7.05 pm GMT.

There were already two editions of this event which drew 198 and 202 entries respectively, and a very similar number can be expected for today. After all, the high-stakes contest requires 200 entries to cover the ambitious $5 million guarantee. Some 26 players already earned their seats or bought in prior to the Super Sunday and among them were the likes of Anatoly Filatov, Wiktor Malinowski, Daniel Dvoress, Michael Zhang, Aleksejs Ponakovs, David Yan, Joakim Andersson, Bert Stevens, and Ludovic "Gr4vyB04t" Geilich to name all but a few.

The structure for the tournament equals the previous two editions and features levels of 15 minutes each. Unlimited re-entries are available during the registration period, which concludes after six hours at 1.05 am GMT in level 22. All participants receive 100,000 in chips, good enough for 200 big blinds in the first level at blinds of 250-500 and a running ante of 60.

The high-stakes contest is slated to receive a featured final table with a fixed number of hands for each blind level instead and deal-making will be permitted. However, during the previous two Sunday 5 Million editions, there was an outright winner in Guillaume Nolet and Niklas Astedt, who both walked away with seven-figure prizes.

Day 1 is scheduled to conclude once the nine-handed final table has been reached and all finalists will then return the following day at 7.05 pm GMT to determine a champion. The PokerNews team will be there from start to finish and provide as many key hands as possible.

Level 1 : 250/500, 60 ante

Pablo Brito Silva had started well and up next, it was Seth Davies on the same table who claimed a big pot.
